WINTER ACTIVITIES
	Channel Lake has the reputation as one of the best Ice Fishing Lakes on the Chain O’Lakes. A nominal fee of $5 provides you with parking right near the water for convenient access to the lake with our ramp to get your fishing gear and huts or tents in place on the lake. We host the largest Ice Fishing Derby on the Chain in the month of February with the NICC, or Northern Illinois Conservation Club.
Snowmobilers enjoy miles of lake-to-lake runs when the waterways are frozen through even when there is little snow on land. Snowmobile Time Trials are also run off the property. See the Calendar of Events for dates.
